LocalNet Adding 70 New Jobs in Western New York

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – LocalNet Corp., the largest privately held Internet service provider in the U.S., is adding 70 new positions at its Amherst offices. Fifty (50) of the jobs are being moved from LocalNet’s Michigan offices and the remainder are newly created positions. These positions will increase the company’s local employment to 250.

We are creating these new positions to ensure that our dialup, web hosting and business customers continue to receive the best possible service.”

The positions include customer service, sales, and technical support personnel, in addition to programmers, system administrators, and web designers.

LocalNet, headquartered in Williamsville, NY, has offices across the U.S. and recently opened a 20,000 square foot call center in Amherst, NY. The company, founded in 1994, now serves over 250,000 subscribers.
